Terms Of Use:

1. Booking & Payment

A 50% deposit is required to secure your order date.

Unpaid invoices automatically expire after 24 hours, and the date becomes available to the next inquiry.

The remaining 50% balance is due at pickup at the time of receiving your order.

No signature is required at the time of booking or deposit.
The only required signature is at pickup.

2. Cancellations & Credits

All orders are custom-made and created specifically for you. For this reason, all payments are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel:

  • 7+ days before pickup: You may receive credit toward a future order
  • Less than 7 days: No credit will be issued

Credits are valid for 1 year from the date issued.

3. Order Changes

Jenn’s Cottage Bakery understands that plans can change. To keep your order on schedule, the following change windows apply:

Flavor Changes – Up to 7 Days Before Pickup
Flavor changes may be requested up to 7 days prior, depending on availability.

Design Changes – Up to 14 Days Before Pickup
Design changes must be requested at least 14 days prior. Many designs require custom toppers or specialty décor that must be ordered in advance.

After Pickup Time
No changes can be made after your scheduled pickup time has passed.
If the pickup time is missed, only rescheduling is allowed — not order modifications.

4. Pickup Policy

All pickups are by appointment only at the scheduled time listed on your order.

Jenn’s Cottage Bakery uses a porch pickup system. Your order will be placed in the designated pickup area at your scheduled time.

Please arrive on time to ensure the best quality of your baked goods.

5. Rescheduling & Adjustment Fees

One Complimentary Reschedule
Each order includes one complimentary reschedule. Please reach out as soon as possible to request changes.

Missed Pickup Window
Each pickup includes a 15-minute appointment window.

Example:

  • Pickup window: 4:00–4:15
  • Grace period ends: 4:30
  • After 4:30 = missed appointment

Adjustment Fee
If your complimentary reschedule has already been used, or if the pickup window is missed without communication, a $10 adjustment fee applies.

Overnight Holds
If your order must be held overnight due to a missed pickup, a $10–$15 overnight hold fee may apply.

6. No-Show Policy

If you do not arrive during your scheduled pickup window and do not communicate beforehand, your order is considered a no-show.

No-show orders are not eligible for refunds, credits, remakes, or complimentary rescheduling.

However, you may still pick up your order if a new time is scheduled within 12 hours of the original pickup time.
A $10 adjustment fee may apply.

7. Abandoned Orders (12-Hour Rule)

If 12 hours pass after your scheduled pickup time with no communication, Jenn’s Cottage Bakery assumes full ownership of the order.

At that point, the bakery may donate, discard, or repurpose the item.
No refunds or credits will be issued.

8. Pickup Release Signature (Required)

At pickup, you are required to sign the Pickup Release section of your order form.

This signature confirms:

  • Your order was received in full
  • Your order was received in good condition
  • The design and details match what was agreed upon
  • Responsibility transfers to you once the order leaves the pickup area

This is the only signature required for your order.

9. Porch Pickup Responsibility

Once your order is placed in the pickup area and the release is signed, responsibility transfers to you.

Jenn’s Cottage Bakery is not responsible for:

  • Damage after pickup
  • Melting or softening
  • Improper transport
  • Items left outside past the pickup window

Please transport your baked goods in a cool, air-conditioned vehicle.

10. Allergies

All items are made in a home kitchen that handles common allergens, including dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts, and soy.

While every effort is made to prevent cross-contact, all products may contain trace allergens.

11. Artistic Variation

All items are handmade. Colors, textures, and decorations may vary slightly from inspiration photos.

By ordering, you acknowledge that you are booking the bakery’s creative style and interpretation.

12. Photography & Social Media

Jenn’s Cottage Bakery reserves the right to photograph your order for portfolio and social media use.

Your personal information will never be shared.

13. Agreement

By paying your 50% deposit, you agree to all policies listed above.

At pickup, you will sign the Pickup Release confirming receipt of your order in good condition.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Orders canceled within 24 hours of placing may be eligible for a refund.

  • After production begins, refunds may not be possible.

  • For issues with your order, contact us immediately and we’ll do our best to make it right.

7. Limitation of Liability
